Islamabad, April 11 -- Post the arrival of high-level delegations from the US and Iran in Pakistan, a round of high-stakes diplomacy is currently unfolding in Islamabad, where the two sides are holding discussions under tight security, hoping to turn a fragile ceasefire into a bid for lasting peace in West Asia.
The US delegation, led by Vice President JD Vance and including special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, landed today to a full state reception.
They were greeted by Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal and CDF Syed Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
