Shimla, Nov. 29 -- With temperatures dipping across Himachal Pradesh, the Meteorological Centre Shimla has forecast the possibility of fresh snowfall in the high reaches of the state from December 5.

The mid-hill regions may also witness light rain or snow under the influence of an approaching Western Disturbance in the first week of December.

The official bulletin issued on Friday indicates a clear shift towards harsher winter conditions in the coming week.

According to the bulletin, dry weather will prevail across Himachal Pradesh until December 4, after which weather activity is expected to intensify in the higher altitudes.
