Shimla, Sept. 15 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court on Monday heard a petition filed by Palampur-based businessman Nishant Sharma, who alleged that he continues to face threats to his life from influential people and fears that his security cover may be withdrawn.

A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia and Justice Ranjan Sharma was apprised by the State Advocate General that "sufficient security staff" has already been deployed in compliance with directions of the Supreme Court.

They Directed the respondents to file the reply on the petition and adjourned the hearing till October 30.
