Patna, Sept. 10 -- The securiry along Indo-Nepal border adjoining Bihar has been tightened, border have been sealed and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has been put on high alert in the aftermath of Nepal violence.
An official source informed here today that security has been reinforced across Bihar's border districts after violent protests erupted in Nepal. Police and paramilitary forces have launched intensive checking drives, and the Indo-Nepal border has been sealed to prevent infiltration.
The source added that SSB jawans remain on high alert following violent agitation in Nepal triggered by a ban on social media.
