Lucknow, Aug. 30 -- To enhance security amid cross-border activities near Nepal and threats from various extremist groups, the union Home Ministry has directed Indian agencies to increase surveillance and deploy advanced drones and anti-drone technologies in Uttar Pradesh districts bordering Nepal, a senior officer said.
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) DIG Munna Singh said, "These will be deployed in important areas of seven districts Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharth Nagar and Maharajganj along the UP-Nepal border.
