Beirut, Sept. 1 -- A Hezbollah member was killed Sunday in an Israeli airstrike targeting southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese sources.
An Israeli drone "struck a motorcycle on the Nabatieh Al-Fawqa road with a guided missile," Lebanon's official National News Agency (NNA) reported. A Lebanese army intelligence source told Xinhua the dead was a Hezbollah member named Ali Tawba from the village of Maifadoun.
According to the NNA, the intelligence source, and local eyewitnesses, Israeli drones and warplanes also carried out multiple airstrikes across southern Lebanon, including some places deep in the area, targeting Hezbollah military positions "subjected to similar air raids" conducted previously.
