Bhubaneswar, Oct. 7 -- Braving intermittent rain, heritage enthusiasts joined the ninth edition of Jagatsinghpur Heritage Walks (JHW), visiting the Siddha Barang Gosain Peetha in Punang village, the birthplace of Odisha's Jatiya Kabi Bira Kishore Das, and the Badabaug Weavers' Village of Jagatsinghpur.
The group gathered at the Bir Kishore Memorial Park near Charipolia Chowk in Jagatsinghpur town.
After cleaning the premises and statue, they offered floral tributes to the eminent poet.
Participants noted that a lot could be done with help from the local community to maintain cleanliness.
