Dharamshala, Sept. 6 -- Rescue and relief operations are being carried out on a war footing by the Kangra district administration in flood-affected areas. With the help of an Army helicopter, the state government and district administration successfully delivered ration, medicines and other essential supplies to the highly inaccessible Bara Bhangal region today, bringing much-needed relief to the stranded people.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kangra Hemraj Bairwa informed that a larger helicopter had been deployed earlier to deliver relief materials, but due to geographical constraints and adverse weather conditions, it could not land in Bara Bhangal.
