Gangtok, Aug. 10 -- Heavy goods vehicles will be prohibited from using a section of National Highway 10 (NH-10) between Sevoke and Rangpo for two days, starting from the night of August 9. The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) has issued a temporary traffic restriction on the stretch between kilometer 20 (near 27th Mile) and kilometer 27 (Teesta Bazaar). According to an official order from the Highway Administrator, heavy vehicles will not be allowed to travel on this section from 10:00 pm on August 9 until 10:00 pm on August 11, 2025.
