Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, says IMD

Pune, July 29 -- Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.

Heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Konkan, Goa, and Vidarbha, the IMD bulletin said.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are very likely at isolated places over Vidarbha.

Squally weather with wind speed 45 - 55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph is very likely to prevail along and off Konkan, Goa coasts during the next 24 hours.



Rainfall is very likely at most places over Konkan, Goa, and Vidarbha; at many places over Madhya Maharashtra; at a few places over Marathwada during the next 24 hours, the IMD said.
