Chandigarh, Aug. 11 -- Torrential rains have caused devastating incidents across Haryana, claiming three lives and injuring several others in Hisar, Nuh, and Sonipat.
The Chandigarh Meteorological Centre has issued a heavy rainfall warning for Ambala, Panchkula, Yamunanagar, and Karnal. Yamunanagar is already experiencing waterlogging on roads, while light drizzle continues in Ambala.
Cloud cover persists over Gurugram, Sonipat, Nuh, Rewari, Panipat, and other districts, with forecasts indicating adverse weather conditions until August 14.
The state has recorded 16% above-average rainfall this monsoon season.
