Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra

Pune, July 14 -- Heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Konkan, Goa, and Madhya Maharashtra, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are very likely at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha, the IMD bulletin said.

Squally weather with wind speed 40 - 50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph is very likely to prevail along and off the Konkan, Goa coasts during the next 24 hours.

Rainfall is very likely at most places over Konkan and Goa and at many places over Madhya Maharashtra; at a few places over Vidarbha and at isolated places over Marathwada during the next 24 hours, the IMD said.
