Amaravati, June 10 -- Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam over the next 48 hours, according to the Meteorological Centre.

In its daily weather report issued on Tuesday, the Met Centre said that similar conditions are expected to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on June 11 and 12.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging between 40 and 60 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
