Pune, Sept. 16 -- Heavy rainfall has lashed across Maharashtra, affecting the Marathwada, Vidarbha, and Ghats regions, as well as Mumbai and its suburbs. The Meteorological Department has predicted that this situation will continue for the next two days.
Torrential downpours have caused floods and widespread havoc in several parts of the state, with farmlands submerged and thousands of cattle swept away. In many areas, water has entered houses, resulting in extensive damage to property.
