Ahilyanagar, Sept. 28 -- Heavy rainfall in Ahilyanagar district resulted in a tragic incident at Pimpalgaon Unda village in Jamkhed tehsil, where a house wall collapsed last night leading to the death of an elderly woman. The victim has been identified as 75 year old farmer named Parubai.
She was buried under the rubble when the wall suddenly gave way due to the intense rains that have been affecting the region for the past four days.
Local villagers immediately rushed Parubai to the district hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries early on Sunday.
