Shimla, July 30 -- Heavy and intermittent rainfall continued across several districts of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, causing widespread disruption and prompting precautionary measures.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert for Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi districts.
A landslide occurred late Tuesday night near Sainj-Ot on the Ani-Kullu National Highway, damaging three parked vehicles. One vehicle was completely crushed, while the other two sustained partial damage. In Mandi's Tikkain sub-tehsil, all educational institutions were closed for the day as a safety measure amid the rainfall warning.
