Hyderabad, Oct. 8 -- The Meteorological Centre, Hyderabad, has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, and Wanaparthy districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours.
In its daily weather report issued on Wednesday, the Met Centre said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few or isolated places across the state over the next seven days.
It also warned that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph are likely at isolated places in Telangana during the next five days.
The report stated that the southwest monsoon has been normal over the state.
