Amaravati, Nov. 13 -- The upper air cyclonic circulation over the southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal, extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level, continues to persist, the Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In its daily weather report, the department said the northeast monsoon is active over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema. It forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on November 17, 18 and 19.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at one or two places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on November 16, 17, 18 and 19, and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on November 18 and 19.
