Heavy rain likely in Rayalaseema on June 12-13: Met

Amaravati, June 9 -- The Meteorological Centre has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in Rayalaseema on June 12 and 13.

In its daily weather report issued on Monday, the Meteorological Center also predicted similar weather conditions for North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on June 11, and for South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on June 12.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds (30-50 km/h) are likely to occur at isolated places across Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema over the next five days.

The report also stated that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at many, few, or isolated places across the same regions during the next seven days.
