Shimla, Aug. 8 -- Amid persistent monsoon fury in Himachal Pradesh, six more people died in Chamba, including four from one family, taking the death toll to 208 in rain-related incidents, official sources said. Roads, power, and water supplies have been hit badly, making life difficult for residents. Authorities said in the last 24 hours, 397 roads were blocked due to landslides, power supply snapped in 631 areas, and water distribution disrupted in 182 villages. Mandi district suffered the worst, with 226 roads closed, while Kullu saw 117 roads being washed away.
