Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Aug. 15 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy rainfall alerts for all eight districts of Marathwada region starting today, with the wet spell expected to continue till August 20.
The rainfall, triggered by a low-pressure area over the west-central Bay of Bengal, brings crucial relief to the drought-affected region comprising Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur, and Dharashiv districts.
