Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Aug. 14 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast moderate to heavy rainfall across all eight districts of the Marathwada region starting today with the intense spell expected to continue till August 20.
Latur district is likely to experience the heaviest downpour, with "tons of rain" predicted tomorrow amounting to 2.07 inches (52.5 mm), followed by continuous showers through August 18-20 accumulating over 4 inches (101.6 mm). The district will see overcast skies with temperatures dropping to 71degF (21.6degC) minimum and 77degF (25degC) maximum during peak rainfall, alongside high humidity of 88-92%.
