Varanasi, Nov. 21 -- A review petition filed against leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi over his remarks about Lord Shri Ram was heard on Friday in the court of Special Judge (MP-MLA) Yajuvendra Vikram Singh. The court has set December 18 for the next hearing.
Petitioner Harishankar Pandey, the lawyer who filed the petition, said the district judge had previously transferred the petition to the Special Judge (MP-MLA) court. The court is expected to issue summons to Rahul Gandhi's Delhi address on Monday. No lawyer representing him was present during today's hearing.
