Rampur, Oct. 17 -- : The health of senior Samajwadi Party leader Mohammad Azam Khan deteriorated after he visited the mosque near his home to offer Friday prayers. During the prayers, he began feeling weak and uneasy.

Upon returning home, there were many people waiting outside to meet him, but he refrained from meeting anyone, citing his deteriorating health.

Azam Khan informed the crowd that he wasn't feeling well, and shortly after, his family doctor arrived to attend to him.

Family members said that if his health does not improve, he will be taken to Delhi for further treatment.
