Kannur, Feb. 26 -- Kerala health minister Veena George who was injured during a protest by Congress affiliated KSU activists here on Wednesday, is under treatment at the Kannur Govt. Medical College Hospital.

She was initially taken to the district hospital after she suffered a neck injury at the Kannur railway station where she gone to attend a function even as KSU activists were holding a black flag demonstration.

The district hospital authorities have issued a medical bulletin stating that a team of specialist doctors, constituted by the hospital's Superintendent, examined health minister Veena George and conducted the necessary tests.

The Medical Board advised further evaluation of the neck injury. Subsequently, specialists appointed...
