Hyderabad, Aug. 13 -- With heavy rain forecast across Telangana for the next three days, Health and Medical Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha has directed the health department to remain on high alert and ensure uninterrupted medical services.
In a teleconference with senior officials, the minister instructed that hospital superintendents, RMOs, medical officers, doctors, and staff must remain on duty throughout the period, with all holidays cancelled.
He emphasised prompt medical attention for all patients and pregnant women in emergencies and relocating women close to delivery to hospital birth waiting rooms. Ambulances and 102 emergency vehicles must be kept ready round the clock with drivers and EMTs available at all times.
