Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 28 -- Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja on Monday directed the Heath Education Director to submit a report on a COVID-recovered man discharged from Government Medical College Hospital with maggot infestation.
In a press release, the Minister said the Director was asked to probe the matter and action will be initiated against those responsible for the incident.
Sources said COVID patient Anil kumar hailing from Vattiyoorkavu was admitted to the ward number six of the hospital on August 21. Later, the patient who tested negative was discharged with maggot maggot infestation on Sunday.
