Hyderabad, Aug. 11 -- Food Corporation Chairman and PCC Vice President MA Faheem has lodged a complaint with the Additional DGP-CID and the Director General, Vigilance & Enforcement, alleging that the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has violated its own bye-laws and rules in appointing members to its Senior and Junior Selection Committees.
In his complaint, Faheem stated that several appointees lack the mandatory qualifications to serve on the committees. As per HCA rules, a Senior Selection Committee member must have played at least seven Test matches, or 30 first-class matches, or 10 international and 20 first-class matches, and must have retired at least five years earlier. The chairperson should be the most senior captain.
