Hyderabad, Sept. 10 -- Telangana BJP President N Ramachandra Rao today welcomed the High Court ruling on the Group-I examination, describing it as a "slap in the face" of the state Congress government.
In a statement, Rao said the verdict was the outcome of the BJP's persistent fight on behalf of Group-I aspirants. He accused the Revanth Reddy-led government of incompetence, alleging that it had failed even to conduct a single exam properly.
Welcoming the court's direction for re-evaluation of answer sheets, Rao said it was a major blow to the state government, which, he claimed, had shown stubbornness while playing with the futures of thousands of unemployed youth.
