Lucknow, Sept. 13 -- The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has summoned the Superintendent of Police of Sultanpur and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Motiharipur police station on September 19 in a case involving implicating a handicapped person in a false case of attempt to murder.
The court has also directed them to file a counter affidavit. The division bench of Justice Rajesh Singh Chauhan and Justice SQH Rizvi gave this order on the petition of Divyang Shyam Sundar.
The petitioner has accused all the defendants of colluding with the police and falsely implicating him in the case. The petitioner said that earlier he had got anticipatory bail from the sessions court in another case registered against him.
