Prayagraj, July 23 -- Samajwadi Party leader and former MLA Abdullah Azam received a setback in the Allahabad High Court today as it rejected both his petitions in the fake passport and PAN card cases.
The single bench of Justice Sameer Jain on Wednesday rejected both the petitions. The court had reserved the decision after hearing arguments of both sides on July 1.
Trial in the case will continue in Rampur's MP-MLA court.
Abdullah Azam had filed two petitions in two different cases in Allahabad High Court. The first case is related to the fake passport of Abdullah Azam Khan and the second case was related to the making of two PAN cards.
