Shimla, Dec. 4 -- Himachal Pradesh High Court has issued notice to the Shimla Municipal Corporation (SMC) and other respondents after the Himachal Pradesh Wakf Board once again approached the Court seeking protection of the disputed mosque structure at Sanjauli.
The petition-earlier withdrawn on December 1-was refiled before the single bench of Justice Ajay Mohan Goel today, with the Board requesting interim relief against the demolition ordered by the lower court.
The Wakf Board urged the Court to stay the demolition proceedings until the appeal filed against the impugned order is conclusively decided.
