Lucknow, Sept. 18 -- The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court today started final hearing in the Public Interest Litigations (PILs) challenging the posting process for government lawyers in the Allahabad HC and Lucknow bench.
The next hearing will be held on Friday.
The final hearing on four PILS filed in the case began during the day before the division bench of Justice Rajan Roy and Justice Prashant Kumar. The petition calls for a transparent process for the posting of government lawyers in the HC.
Chief Standing Counsel Shailendra Kumar Singh said that the state government has already filed the required counter-affidavit in this matter.
