New Delhi, March 31 -- HBL Engineering on Monday said Central Railway has awarded five letters of acceptances (LoAs) to the company for provision of the automatic train protection system Kavach. The total value of the five contracts (inclusive of 18% GST) is 762.56 crore. "We also would like to inform the stakeholders that the total value of all the Kavach contracts to date (during the year) is Rs 3,618 crores," HBL Engineering said in a stock exchange filing. The company said that the five contracts for the indigenously developed anti-collision system would cover a total of 3,900 kms across 413 railway stations.
