New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- Residents of Delhi and the adjoining NCR woke up to a hazy morning on Friday, with visibility reduced across several areas.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the national capital is likely to experience calm and cold conditions in the morning, with the maximum temperature hovering around 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum expected to settle near 11 degrees Celsius.

The winter chill has begun to recede across several parts of North India, including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Temperatures in these states are gradually rising, with daytime readings expected to increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the coming days.
