Hazaribagh, July 30 -- Hazaribagh MP Manish Jaiswal today met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and sought swift approval for two major infrastructure projects in
his constituency.
He proposed a 20-km Ring Road connecting Chatra Road to Nagwa Flyover and Silwar on NH-522
at an estimated cost of Rs 450 crore. The project aims to decongest city traffic and divert heavy coal-laden trucks away from urban areas.
Jaiswal also urged the widening of the Sultanate-Simaria-Chatra road, which connects key coal projects like Magadh, Amrapali, and NTPC. He said better road infrastructure will boost safety and regional trade.
Gadkari assured action and directed officials to examine both proposals promptly.
