Hazaribagh, Jan. 2 -- Serious lapses in jail security have come to light in connection with the recent escape of inmates from Hazaribagh Central Jail, with investigations revealing that electric current was not flowing through the wires installed on the prison's perimeter and security barricades. The absence of electrification, coupled with darkness, dense fog and disrupted night-time power supply, provided a clear advantage to the fleeing prisoners and became the primary reasons behind the jailbreak.
