Baijnath, Dec. 10 -- Havildar Sanjeev Kumar, a 40-year-old resident of Dhrug (Dandehra) village under Baijnath subdivision, was accorded a final farewell with full military honours on Tuesday.
He passed away on December 7 following an illness. His mortal remains were brought to his native village today, where the last rites were performed with military protocol.
Baijnath MLA Kishori Lal was present on the occasion and paid floral tributes to the departed soldier.
