Bengaluru, Dec. 20 -- union Minister and senior BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje on Saturday mounted a sharp attack on the Congress-led Karnataka government over the proposed Hate Speech and Hate Crimes Prevention Bill, alleging that it was a deliberate attempt to silence opposition voices, the media and civil society by transferring judicial powers to the executive, and warned that she would approach the President, if necessary, to stop the legislation.
