Chandigarh, Aug. 18 -- In a shocking incident, two minor sisters were critically injured in a firing attack at their home in the Jind district of Haryana last night.
The victims, 13-year-old Tarannum and 10-year-old Jasmeen, were shot while asleep inside their residence in Adarsh Colony, Safidon, around 1 am. Both girls have been shifted to Rohtak PGI in serious condition.
According to the complainant, Noorhasan, a resident of Adarsh Colony, the attack stemmed from a prior dispute between his son Naushad and the accused. He alleged that a few days ago Naushad was assaulted by a group, leaving him with fractures in his hands and legs.
