Chandigarh, Feb. 16 -- A massive explosion at a chemical factory in Faridabad's Sector-24 today evening triggered a devastating fire, leaving at least 35 people injured.

The victims include five police officers and several firefighters who were caught in the blaze while attempting to manage the escalating crisis.

The intensity of the fire was such that it spilled over onto the adjacent roads, engulfing multiple parked vehicles and forcing authorities to evacuate the entire neighborhood.
