Chandigarh, Oct. 1 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today announced that the state will soon dedicate India's second elevated railway track to its residents, marking another milestone in infrastructure development.
Speaking to reporters at Thanesar railway station in Kurukshetra, Saini highlighted that Haryana was also home to the country's first elevated railway track, constructed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He noted that while the track's construction is completed, platform work at Thanesar station is ongoing, with the project set to provide permanent relief from traffic congestion at five railway crossings in Kurukshetra.
