Chandigarh, July 30 -- In a decisive move to make Haryana a stray cattle-free state, the Haryana Government will launch a state-wide stray cattle-free campaign in mission mode from August 1 to 31, 2025.

The decision was taken during a review meeting chaired by Dr Saket Kumar, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, with officials from the Gau Seva Aayog, Urban Local Bodies Department, and Animal Husbandry Department.

This initiative follows directions issued by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who has called for urgent and coordinated efforts to resolve the stray cattle issue across Haryana.
