Chandigarh, April 26 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday announced the formation of a dedicated State Social Security Board to ensure the socio-economic uplift of organised workers in the state.

Speaking at a state-level labour awareness and felicitation programme held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurugram, the Chief Minister stated that the new board would specifically extend social security benefits to auto drivers and other transport workers, fulfilling a key demand raised by the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh.
