Chandigarh, Nov. 5 -- The Haryana government will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the national song 'Vande Mataram' with a grand state-level programme on November 7.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired a review meeting with senior officials and deputy commissioners via video conference to ensure the event is held with full dignity across the state.
Following the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the collective singing of Vande Mataram will take place nationwide at 10:00 a.m. on November 7, marking a moment of patriotic unity. The Chief Minister instructed that similar events be organized at the mandal, district, sub-divisional, and block levels throughout Haryana.
