Chandigarh, July 17 -- In a major strategic move, the Haryana government has established the Department of Future to spearhead the implementation of Vision 2047, with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and skill development.
The newly formed department will undertake regular horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning to proactively identify potential challenges and opportunities for the state. It will be responsible for formulating comprehensive long-term strategies aimed at diversifying growth in high-value sectors under Vision 2047.
A formal notification regarding the creation of the department has been issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi under the Haryana Government (Allocation) Rules, 1974.
