Bhiwani, Aug. 23 -- In a determined bid to highlight the rights of government employees, 71-year-old Jagat Singh, a retired clerk from Bhiwani, Haryana, has filed his nomination for the upcoming Vice President election.

A resident of Chang village, Singh has become known for his persistent pursuit of high constitutional offices to raise awareness for public sector workers.

This marks his fourth attempt at a high constitutional post, having previously filed for the President's election three times between 2012 and 2022, all of which were rejected due to lack of required proposers and seconders.
