Chandigarh, Sept. 30 -- The Haryana government has procured 2,79,502.86 metric tonnes of paddy from mandis across the state during the ongoing kharif procurement season 2025, which began on September 22.

Of this, 48,838.72 metric tonnes have already been lifted from procurement centers, ensuring smooth operations for farmers and agencies involved.

According to a spokesperson for the Department of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Haryana, the paddy has been procured from 28,599 farmers registered on the 'Meri Fasal Mera Byora' portal.

This season, a total of 4,08,182.41 metric tonnes of paddy have arrived in Haryana's mandis, reflecting robust agricultural activity in the state.
