Chandigarh, Oct. 1 -- The Haryana government has announced plans to establish state-of-the-art warehouse infrastructure at Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar to enhance the storage and export of horticultural produce.
The initiative aims to ensure controlled-temperature storage and seamless transportation, enabling farmers to preserve the quality and freshness of their crops while accessing international markets, thereby maximizing their profits.
The decision was discussed during a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, attended by Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana, along with senior officials from the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation and the Civil Aviation Department.
