Chandigarh, Oct. 29 -- In a major step toward ensuring fair returns for cotton cultivators, the Haryana government has introduced a mobile application named 'Kapas Kisan' to help farmers sell their produce at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). The initiative aims to streamline the cotton procurement process and make it easier for farmers to connect with authorized purchase centers.
According to an official spokesperson, the Kapas Kisan app has been developed by the Cotton Corporation of India Limited (CCI), a Government of India enterprise, for the sale of cotton under the MSP scheme for the 2025-26 season.
